The International Circuit hosts Bahrain Grand Prix every March, along with a host of other activities. Located in Sakhir in the south of Bahrain island, it is easily accessible from Bahrain International Airport. The circuit has the capacity to accommodate about 50,000 spectators, and is designed by renowned specialist Hermann Tilke, who is also responsible for the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. Visitors to Bahrain International Circuit can try go-karting or take a 4x4 around the track.
The BIC has six separate track layouts, including a test oval and a drag strip, two of which can be operational at a time. Therefore, BIC operates a range of motorsport, corporate, social and community events all through the year.
Several hundreds of top cars and drivers flock to the circuit for regular Test and Tune events and annual International Drag Racing Festival. The Circuit has several lounges, designed to hold a range of social and corporate social entertainment.
Moreover, the five-star catering and wonderful amenities has made this circuit one of the popular venues for corporate functions and social occasions. The new Heritage Collection is an outstanding museum of the rarest kind with valuable F1 cars from all eras, not usually seen in public. The circuit also hosts several charitable events throughout the year.
